The idea to begin DIFF Hospital was conceived on the 26th of February, 2001 following the birth of a set of triplets to the family of the Medical Director, Dr. John Idahosa.  This miracle happened after nine long years of infertility, patience, and determined faith to believe God’s Promises. 

The Medical Director decided on that day to create an enabling and sustainable medical environment that will give fulfilment to the hopes and aspirations of many Nigerians suffering from infertility and other gynaecology ailments.

This Dream was eventually given birth to on the 1st of June, 2004 with the commencement of clinical services.

Origin of Hospital Name
The hospital is named after the triplets of Dr. John Idahosa.  Their names are Divine, Favour & Faith. The acronym created from the letters of their names is DIFF.

Our Rapid Growth
Due to the quality of our Gynaecology and Obstetric services in addition to pressure from several corporate and international clients, we decided to expand the scope of our clinical services to accommodate other specialties.

Our rapid growth also necessitated the need to move to our present location at 6, Udi Hills Close, Aso Drive, Maitama, Abuja on the 26th of February 2006.
